Menominee Missions — a great opportunity for young people to engage in outreach and gospel witness — will take place July 9-14, 2019, in Zoar, Wisconsin!

The Menominee Missions team will receive training in cross-cultural missions and the history of the Menominee people, and then conduct a VBS on the Menominee Indian Reservation, with plenty of Scripture, singing, skits, games, cookouts, and opportunities for building friendships with the children.

Pastor Micah Shin has provided the following details about Menominee Missions:

To glorify God by reaching out to Menominee Natives with the good tidings of Jesus Christ!

Who can participate?

From 9th grade through young adults (college and career ages). If you have realized you are a debtor of the gospel to other people who have not yet received Christ as their Savior, you are very much welcome.

Who can participate as a leader? We need more leaders!

If you are 21 years old or older and have a leadership skill with a patient and caring heart, please send an email to ichthus1516@gmail.com.

Once you are accepted, you will be expected to plan with the other leaders for various things before the event (meals, T-shirts, songs, skits, lessons, and etc.). But, you are exempted from paying the participant fee.

  • The fee is $100.
  • Please make check payable to “Menominee Orthodox Presbyterian Church” and write “Menominee Missions” on the memo line.
  • Please mail your check in advance to 306 Madison Way, Apt 14, Shawano, WI 54166.
  • In case you forgot to mail it promptly, don’t forget to bring your check with you when you come!
