I was struck when I witnessed Pastor Bill Welzien’s gospel presentation in Mallory Square the first night. I had seen various methods in my time as a Christian but none so captivating, so clear . . .
As one who has been on several mission trips both domestically and abroad, it is interesting how much things stay the same, regardless of where you are. Spiritual starvation. While the culture and language may be different, the reality of sin doesn’t disappear . . .
The children this year were very responsive to and receptive of the message we were sharing through the means of drama. Many children even remembered lessons learned from previous years’ skits and lessons . . .
The Boardwalk Chapel ministry has blessed countless people from all over the world, both saved and unsaved, and the Lord has sustained and grown many disciples within its walls. All this, and much more, I have been blessed to know firsthand . . .

Team Praha impacts you but it also impacts those around you. When you see people thinking deeply about Scripture, questioning it, searching it, you know they are close to the kingdom. It made us all rejoice to know that seeds might fall on good soil . . .
I learned a lot about evangelizing, and I also learned some things about myself; areas where I am lacking and areas where I have strengths I wasn’t even aware of. It was a fantastic trip overall . . .
Every day leading up to and during English Camp, my mind and heart were consumed with how to serve the Lord or I was reminded that I was there to serve Him. Even more, they saw men and women of all ages travel across a national border to bring them not only fun and education, but, clearly and sincerely, Christ’s love . . .
What can you accomplish during a week of work in the hot Haitian sun? A lot! The Hopps are so thankful for the team of eight that came from four different churches around the country. They left behind the snow and ice to help us build a new gate . . .
