Hurricane Relief Hiatus in Houston (July-September)

The OPC's Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief Ministry in Houston will take a 3-month hiatus in July, August, and September 2018.

Note: Any volunteers and volunteer groups already signed up to serve in Houston during that time will proceed with their plans.

Planning and preparation will continue for the Hurricane Harvey Disaster Relief Ministry to resume in the fall and continue into 2019 as God leads and enables us.

Even though it is now almost a year since Hurricane Harvey first struck Texas on August 25, 2017, the devastating effects of this mega-storm linger on in the Houston area with hundreds of families still in need of help.

Please stay tuned to Facebook, the S.T.O.R.M. Report, and "Current Opportunities" at this website, for upcoming announcements and requests for volunteer relief workers as well as opportunities to contribute funds to sustain this important work.

We appreciate your continued prayers that the efforts of this Disaster Relief Ministry will lead to changed lives through helping hands powered by the effective testimony of the Gospel of Christ.
